Bayern Munich set to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace

Blues had reportedly activated £35m release clause
Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Crystal Palace to sign winger Michael Olise, according to Sky Germany. The German champions will pay £50.8m including add-ons to bring the 20-year-old to the Allianz Arena.
Chelsea and Manchester United had also been interested in signing Olise, but Bayern have now won the race for his signature. The Blues had reportedly activated a £35m release clause in Olise's contract, but the Eagles were holding out for a higher fee.
Olise is a highly-rated young winger who has been capped by England at Under-21 level. He has scored four goals and provided 12 assists in 50 appearances for Palace since joining the club from Reading in 2019.
The signing of Olise is a major coup for Bayern Munich, who are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. The German champions have already signed Sadio Mane from Liverpool this summer, and they are now close to completing a deal for Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus.
